Belief in a particular shape of a planet is not a salvation issue in and of itself, but with the modern flat earth movement it has become a salvation issue.
With the modern flat earth movement, you're required to sin to believe in a flat earth. Social media is filled with flat earth meme's, video, podcasts, posts, and comments. The internet, in general, is equally filled with flat earth websites spreading their flat earth Gospel to every nation. In just about every flat earth communication or website, you are more than likely going to run into a flat-earther committing a sinful act in the process of discussing or promoting their flat earth belief.
What Sins Do Flat-Earthers Commit?
Bearing False Witness Against Others - "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother." Mark 10:19 KJV
1. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe every space photo or video is a lie, thereby accusing everyone involved in the pictures or videos from space of being a liar.
2. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe every mission to space is a lie, thereby accusing everyone involved in the space program a liar and deceiver. NASA alone has over 18,000 people working for them, and there are many more public and private space programs around the world that you're calling liars.
3. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe satellites in space are a lie, thereby accuse everyone involved in satellites (from the satellite company CEO to the local weatherman that uses satellite weather reports) of being liars and deceivers.
4. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe the globe earth is a lie, and everyone who believes in a globe is deceived or a deceiver.
5. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe every astronomer in history or in modern times who professed or professes to see the planets spinning and in orbit around the sun to be a liar.
6. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe employees from GPS and satellite television companies are lying to you about their systems operating off satellites in space.
7. You can't believe in the flat earth unless you first believe you were lied to at school and taught the earth was a globe, thereby accusing teachers of feeding you lies.
8. To believe in the flat earth, you must believe that Antarctica is an ice wall ring around the earth, and it's a vast wilderness that is closed off to the general public. Therefore, you must call all the thousands of tourists that visit Antarctica each year, all the couples who go there to get married, and the civilian workers who live on the continent liars and deceivers, or are deceived.

To believe in the flat earth, you first MUST believe a vast number of people are lying to you and are deceiving you. If you don't, then your whole flat earth narrative is destroyed. However, you are calling people liars whom you may not know and may have never met. More than likely your "proof of their deception" is based on flimsy facts and opinions, or based on what someone said to you who is probably just repeating what others said to them. Believers are not able to make false accusations against people without giving them the opportunity to be heard and a chance to have their day to prove their innocence, and that doesn't include short sound bites from flat-earther videos that manipulate what people say.

You may try to play righteous and godly with others, but if you intend to lie and destroy people to promote your flat earth agenda, then He will know.
"I charged your judges at that time, ‘When you hold a hearing between brothers, judge fairly between a man and his brother or between foreigners. When you hold a hearing, don’t be partial in judgment toward the least important or toward the great. Never fear men, because judgment belongs to God." So flat-earthers, you better make sure every word you say or type on your computer is the truth. You better be able to back it up because one day you will give an account before God for what you stated in written or verbal communication. If you must call people liars to validate your flat earth belief, then your flat earth beliefs are making you sin. This proves the flat earth is not from God, and the modern flat earth movement is not from God. Don't just say something is a lie because some flat-earth guru told you NASA lied. Search it for yourself and hear NASA's side of the story. Look at the matter as if you are bringing a case before the Lord. Bring him a solid case or don't spread the accusation. Don't bear false witness against others. This includes blaming the invisible "THEY" to cause people to distrust everyone and everything. Seek out the truth and stop hiding from it!

Flat-earthers have adopted the same arguments atheists use to debunk the Bible. For decades, atheists have claimed the Bible teaches the earth is flat to mock the scriptures. The same interpretations of certain biblical passages that flat-earthers use are used by atheists to discount and discredit the Bible. Now atheists have a huge crowd of people claiming to be believers (flat-earthers) agreeing with atheist rhetoric. How difficult is it for flat-earthers to see that they believe in the lies Satan used for decades to attack the scriptures? Are flat-earthers that naive or confused to think that atheist shared inspired interpretations of God's word when they argued with believers and taught the earth was flat? If your answer is no, then why are you using their interpretation of the Bible?
Flat-earthers don't realize it, but they are validating everything atheist have always said about the Bible, and they are bringing mockery to the scriptures, to God, and to all believers around the world. They are making the Bible look foolish and giving people reasons to turn from God and to doubt God's word.
Flat-earthers love to brag about how many people they convinced to follow their flat earth Gospel, but we never hear how many they have offended and tempted to sin or depart from the faith. Flat-earthers will probably never know until they stand before God in judgment and God reveals the damage they have done to others.
If flat-earthers would stop running from reality and accept the obvious evidence for the globe all around them, then they will give up flat-earth foolishness. Foolishness that doesn't match reality and silliness that the Bible does not teach.

Spreading Conspiracy Fears Among The People - "The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, "Don't call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don't live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven's Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble. He will keep you safe..." Isaiah 8:11-14 NLT
You can't go around in life fearful and call everything a conspiracy, then look at the people around you as participants in a global conspiracy. That type of thinking is delusional and will put you in a state of dread (fear). You may not think of yourself as fearful but if you're going around in life thinking everyone is lying to you and out to get you then you're acting paranoid and thus fearful. The modern flat earth movement will make you think this way, but the word of God tells us not to think like flat-earthers (Calling everything a conspiracy and living in dread).

Error Giving Birth to More Error - "Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision. However, avoid pointless discussions. For people will become more and more ungodly, and what they say will spread everywhere like gangrene..." 2 Timothy 2:15-17 ISV
The Apostle Paul shows us that if you're not using the word of God with "precision" and get involved in a pointless discussion then you are subject to become more and more ungodly. Then your ungodliness will spread like gangrene to others. If we study the Greek word for "pointless discussion" we see that it means profane, worldly, empty talk, it has no substance, and it's not centered on godly or scriptural principles. The same phrase is used in 1 Timothy:
"Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge. Some people have wandered from the faith by following such foolishness." 1 Timothy 6:20-21 NLT
"When I left for Macedonia, I urged you to stay there in Ephesus and stop those whose teaching is contrary to the truth. Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths... These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God. In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy. Teach these things... and encourage everyone to obey them. Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. Flat-earthers have endless discussions about their myth, meaningless speculations, and arguments. These end in divisions, slander, and evil suspicions about everyone in their worldwide conspiracy. The Bible says their minds are corrupted because they have turned their backs on the truth. An error will always lead to more error until it corrupts you and causes you to turn your back on the truth.

Flat-earthers have endless discussions about their myth, meaningless speculations, and arguments. These end in divisions, slander, and evil suspicions about everyone in their worldwide conspiracy. The Bible says their minds are corrupted because they have turned their backs on the truth. An error will always lead to more error until it corrupts you and causes you to turn your back on the truth.
