The term "trinity" is not mentioned in the Bible, but, that does not invalidate the concept of the Trinity. The Bible proves God (Yahweh) is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are a unified, triune Godhead - "echad," which is a Hebrew term for a plural unity -- three as one. Adam and Eve were two beings that also became one flesh. Adam and Eve were "echad" ( a plural unity) according to the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). The Godhead is by nature divine and has always existed as divine beings - not created. They are superior above all their creation.
"Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device." Acts 17:29 KJV
How Can The Three Be One?
People have a problem with the concept of the Trinity because they can't comprehend how three can be one. Yet, there are examples of plurals seen as one everywhere. A husband and wife are one flesh. Children can be part of one family. Three business partners can be one business entity. Even the motto of the United States is "Out of many, one."
If people think the Trinity is impossible, will they also struggle with the Bible saying God the Father and Jesus are one Temple?
"And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." Revelation 21:22 KJV
Christ in The Godhead:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And he (Christ) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." John 1:1,14 and Revelation 19:13 KJV
It should be simple to see Christ is God. The Word is God (John 1:1). The Word became flesh and dwelt among the disciples (John 1:14). Christ is identified as the Word in (Revelation 19:3). Christ is the Word, and the Word is God. Anyone with common sense should be able to understand what the Bible is telling them. Yet, stubborn people will continue to reject he's God no matter how much evidence you provide them. If you're not a stubborn denier of truth and seek answers, then you will find the truth in the Bible. The scriptures prove there are three that make up the one Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit).
Is Jesus by nature a divine being or did God bestow power on him to act as a divine being?
In other words, is Jesus a divine being or just a human given divine power? The following verse can answer this question for those who claim Jesus is something other than God:
"Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form." Philippians 2:6-7 NLT
In Philippians 2:6-7, we see that Jesus was God before he came to earth as a man. Jesus gave up his divine attributes/privileges to humble himself in the form of a human. So think about it, if Jesus wasn't divine before he came to earth, then how did he set aside his divine privileges? You can't give up something unless you first have it.
Jesus was not bestowed divinity. Jesus was always divine but did not use his divine power so that he could live like a human. His life gives us an example of what we can do in our mortal state. As a human, he relied on the power of the Father and the Holy Spirit alone like all other humans must do. Jesus related to the Father as a human would (Praying to him, worshiping him, etc.).
Christ was fully God and fully man, but some people have a hard time understanding this concept. People don't know how to separate or unify the two natures of Christ. In their ignorance, people create foolish ideas about Jesus. People claim Jesus was a demi-god, an angel, or some unique creation. People would rather believe a lie about Christ than accept the truth of the Bible.
Like Christ, the Holy Spirit is divine. The Holy Spirit is not a force, but a person and is often referred to in the Bible as "He" not an it.
The pages of the Bible are full of evidence to prove the trinity if you only take the time to look for them. Pray that God reveals the truth to you and keeps you from error.

Matthew 28:19
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19 KJV
NOTE- Some make the false claim that this verse was never in the original Greek text and that Constantine added it or changed the original verse. This is an anti-trinitarian lie. Matthew 28:19 in its present form was quoted, mentioned, and used as a guide by the early church long before Constantine even existed.
(1st Century AD) Didache 7:1 - "But concerning baptism, thus baptize ye: having first recited all these precepts, baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, in running water."
(180 AD) Irenaeus of Lyons, Against Heresies, Book 3, Chapter 17, Section 1 - "He said to them 'Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost,'"
(196 - 212 AD) Tertullian, A Prescription Against Heretics, Chapter 20 - "Accordingly, after one of these had been struck off, He commanded the eleven others, on His departure to the Father, to 'go and teach all nations, who were to be baptized into the Father, and into the Son, and into the Holy Ghost,'"
These quotes are a second witness of the accuracy and reliability of the Matthew 28:19 as we know it in our modern Bibles.
Baptizing “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost” means the disciples were commissioned to teach and baptize in the authority of the full Godhead. Some doubt Jesus is God, but verse 20 should eliminate that doubt, because in verse 20 Jesus states, “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world,” which is impossible for a mortal to accomplish, but easy for an omnipresent (present everywhere) member of the Trinity.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 KJV
NOTE- There are different spiritual gifts, but they all come from the same Spirit who distributes them as he wills it. There are various ministries, but they all come from the same Lord. This word “Lord” is the Greek word “Kyrios,” which is the same Greek word translated as Yahweh (The name of God) in the Septuagint. In Isaiah 45:18-23 it says every knee will bow to the Lord, but this is shown to be Jesus in Philippians 2:9-11. Therefore, we have the Greek word identified as Yahweh (Lord/Kyrios) referring to Jesus, and we have the Greek word "Theos" referring to God the Father. In 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 we see all three members of the Godhead working as one to accomplish a unified goal.

1 Corinthians 8:6
"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." 1 Corinthians 8:6 KJV
NOTE - It appears Paul may be referencing Deuteronomy 6:4: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." In 1 Corinthians 8:6, the Apostle Paul shows us that we only have one God and one Lord. Some will claim that this verse denies Jesus is God because it only claims the Father is God. If one wants to use that type of flawed logic to interpret this verse, then that would also mean any reference to Lord in the Old and New Testaments can only refer to Jesus and not the Father. Remember, as we stated previously, the Greek word "Kyrios/Kurios" is often translated as Yahweh (the name of God) in the Septuagint. So, we can restate this verse as follows: "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Yahweh Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
The fact is, both the title God and Lord are shared by Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament:
The Father is Lord - "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes." Matthew 11:25 KJV
Jesus is Lord - "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" 2 Peter 1:2 KJV
The Holy Spirit is Lord - "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV
-------------------------------------
The Father is God - "Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 1:1 KJV
Jesus is God - "Waiting for the blessed hope and manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13 YLT
"Simeon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who did obtain a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ" 2 Peter 1:1 YLT
The Holy Spirit is God - “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” Acts 5:3-4 KJV Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit and later it’s restated “thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God,” which means the Holy Spirit is recognized as God.
---------------------------------------
Finally, look at what the verse states about the function of both the Father and Jesus. Of the Father, it says: "of whom are all things..." Of the Son (Jesus) it says: "by whom are all things, and we by him." Both are involved in the act of creation, which is a power only attributed to a divine entity.
Ephesians 2:18
“Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.” Ephesians 2:18 NLT
NOTE - The Holy Spirit provides access to the Father because of the work of Christ. So, the Holy Spirit can't be the Father and can't be Christ, they are separate beings, yet one Godhead.

2 Corinthians 13:14
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14 NLT
NOTE - This verse shows us that we receive grace, through the divine act and power of Christ (2 Corinthians 8:9, 12:9; Romans 1:7). We receive love from the Father, and we have fellowship through the Spirit. The Godhead (Trinity) in operation.

1 Peter 3:18
“Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.” 1 Peter 3:18 NLT
NOTE - Christ, without sin died for our sins to bring us to God the Father. Although Christ died a physical death, he was raised to life again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Only a divine being (God) has the power to bring life back to a human body that has been dead for three days and nights. All three are listed in this verse, and all three are God.

1 Peter 1:2
“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” 1 Peter 1:2 KJV
NOTE - Acts 20:28 says: “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Acts 20:28 shows us, it was God that purchased the church with his own blood. 1 Peter 1:2 says it was Jesus who shed blood for our salvation and the Holy Spirit that brings sanctification. The triune Godhead at work for our salvation. Proof Jesus is God and member of the Trinity.

Matthew 3:16-17
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17 KJV

Conclusion
These are a few of the many scriptures that prove the Trinity. It only takes a willingness to know truth, common sense to figure it out, and guidance from God. Did Jesus reveal himself as God? Yes! In John 8:23-24 Christ tells the people of Israel he is from heaven and states he is the I AM. Jesus said, if you deny he is God (the I AM) then you will die in your sins.
"And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I AM (The name of God - Exodus 3:14), you shall die in your sins." (John 8:23-24).
Accepting the deity of Christ is so important that Jesus said you would die in your sins twice in this passage of scripture for denying he is God. Therefore, don't reject Christ is God and don't deny the Trinity/The Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), because your denial will have eternal consequences.
