Introduction to Theistic Evolution
Theistic evolution may come in various labels like theistic evolutionism, evolutionary creationism, divine direction, biblical evolution, or God-guided evolution, but no matter what one calls it, theistic evolution is a dangerous delusion which perverts a person's understanding of God and the Bible.
Theistic evolution is nothing more than a spiritual compromise that enables a "believer" to accept evolution while they continue to deceive themselves into thinking they have genuine faith in God. The Bible and evolution are different belief systems. Thus, to believe in evolution and to claim a belief in the Bible, would be like a person worshiping Christ while also worshiping the Antichrist--- that is profound cognitive dissonance and the epitome of an oxymoron.
To believe in theistic evolution, one must
1. Deny the Genesis creation account is real.
2. Deny the Genesis flood account is real.
3. Believe the Bible is mythical.
4. Deny Adam and Eve were historical figures.
5. Rewrite, explain away or dismiss multiple scriptures in the Bible associated with creation.
That is not biblical Christianity; it is heresy.

5. Rewrite, explain away or dismiss multiple scriptures in the Bible associated with creation.
That is not biblical Christianity; it is heresy.
The problem with believing Adam and Eve were fake characters and not actual historical figures is that one who confesses that belief would also be calling the Father, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, Luke, Jude, Moses, Hosea, Ezra and the apostle Paul liars.
God mentions Adam, when he spoke to Hosea and Israel in the Book of Hosea.
"And they, as Adam, transgressed a covenant, There they dealt treacherously against me." Hosea 6:7 YLT
Jesus believed Adam and Eve were real historical figures.
Jesus Said, "But from the beginning of the creation God made them [Adam and Eve] male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife." Mark 10:6-7 KJV
The Book of Jude mentions Adam as a real historical person included in the pre-flood genealogy.
"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints." Jude 1:14 KJV
God allowed Luke to list Adam as part of the genealogy of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 3.
"Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." Luke 3:38 KJV
Would God allow this if Adam was not a real person? If one says "yes," then wouldn't that make the Gospel of Luke a lie and also call God a liar for inspiring the text? A similar genealogy appears in 1 Chronicles chapter 1, in which Ezra, also lists Adam in a lineage with other historical figures (1 Chronicles 1:1).
The apostle Paul not only believed Adam and Eve were real historical figures but also believed in the creation account as taught in the Book of Genesis.
"For the first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came from man. And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man. For although the first woman came from man, every other man was born from a woman, and everything comes from God." 1 Corinthians 11:8-9, 12 NLT
"So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life." 1 Corinthians 15:21 NLT
"And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." 1 Corinthians 15:45 KJV
"For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman [Eve] being deceived was in the transgression." 1 Timothy 2:13-14 KJV
Theistic evolutionists have to ignore, change, re-write, or rip out several books from their Bible to ease the conflict going on in their head and hearts. Genesis, Hosea, Mark, Luke, Jude, 1 Chronicles, 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy all contain passages that debunk theistic evolution and its claim that Adam and Eve were not real historical figures.

Theistic Evolutionists Claim the Six Literal Days of Creation Are Not Real
Theistic evolutionists believe that Genesis chapter one and two cannot be taken literal. Some theistic evolutionists believe the evening and morning in Genesis chapter one is not a 24-hour periods but millions of years. Other theistic evolutionists believe God used the seven-day workweek as an analogy to help the uneducated people of Israel grasp the concept of creation. So, theistic evolutionists will explain away the 6-days of creation, and God's rest on the 7th day as a literary technique (not a literal technique, but a literary or a writing technique) to help comprehension.
It is incredible to see the devices humanity will use to tickle the ear and to dismiss the Bible.
The truth is, the people of ancient Israel had a far better grasp of the creation account than modern-day liberal scholars and theistic evolutionists. There was no misunderstanding about creation being 24 literal days; God did not deploy literary techniques to lie to humanity for the sake of reading comprehension. God is not a liar, he is not a sleight of hand magician, and he did not write fiction. God does not lie (Numbers 23:19). It is impossible for God to lie or deceive (Hebrews 6:18). If God said a day of creation was an evening and a morning, then each day of creation was a literal 24-hour period--no deception, no codes and no hidden meaning.
When God gave Moses and Israel the Ten Commandments, God reflected on the seven literal days of creation.
"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Exodus 20:11 KJV -- How could God bless the 7th day if the 7th day is not really a 24-hour day? Will theistic evolutionists dare blaspheme God and claim he is lying in this passage also?
Again in the Book of Exodus, God says, "It [the Sabbath/7th day] is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed." Exodus 31:17 KJV -- Is God lying again? No. God makes it clear that he created the heavens and the earth in six literal days and rested on the 7th day (all 24-hour periods).
The law given to honor the sabbath day was designed to remember the seventh day of the creation week. The Sabbath honored to this day is one 24-hour day isn't it? God would be lying if the "day" was actually millions of years. The whole concept of a day of rest would be a deception that God lied about not only in Genesis but twice in Exodus. One needs to see the seriousness of claiming the days of creation are not literal days but extended periods of time. To claim the days of creation are not literal but figurative or a literary technique is to imply God is a deceiver.
Context defines how the Hebrew word for "day" (yom) should be understood/interpreted per passage. With that in mind, how hard is it to understand the days in the Genesis creation week are literal 24-hour periods? Look at all the evidence in the text that proves each day is a 24-hour period:
1. Each day is defined as an evening/night (12-hours) and a morning/day (12-hours) = A 24-hour day. See Genesis 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31. How can one see evening and morning in the text and interpret it as millions of years? "And the evening and the morning were the sixth day " theistic evolutionists will edit the sixth day and turn it into six million years. By what authority do they do that? None. Theistic evolutionists take it upon themselves to change God's word to support their belief in evolution.
2. After Genesis 1:5 [the first day] there are ordinal numbers (sequential numbers typically ending in "th") for Genesis 1:8, 13, 19, 23, 31, and 2:2. Therefore, each day must be interpreted as a literal day from day one to day seven, which prevents each day from being interpreted as an era of time.
3. The fourth day of creation (Genesis 1:14-19) should make it even more clear that a day is 24 hours. On the fourth day, God brought forth the sun, moon, and stars. What is the purpose of the sun, moon, and stars? (1) to divide the day from the night [24-hours]. (2) and for seasons (3) and for days and years.
Think back to the previous day, when the sun shined yesterday, and the moon appeared in last nights sky, was there any question a 24-hour day passed? Was there a doubt in anyone's mind that perhaps it was not a 24-hour day but a million years? It may sound like a silly question, but it is just as silly for theistic evolutionists to claim a day governed by the same sun and moon we have today could be 24-hours in our modern era but the "day" was millions of years during creation week.
The sun, moon, and stars not only divide the day into 24-hour periods, but also regulate the month, seasons, and year. How could a logical person ignore this language and claim Genesis is talking about millions of years and not literal days? If a day is millions of years, then would a "season" be billions of years? Would a "year" be trillions? How do the day-age theistic evolutionists deal with that dilemma? It should be clear that the way theistic evolutionists interpret the Bible is not only flawed but comical.
Only a person with an agenda to push will ignore the evidence and attempt to rewrite the Bible. Theistic evolutionists complicate Genesis because when confusion is created, it is easier to pervert the Bible. God does not create confusion; people do.
"For God is not the author of confusion..." 1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV.

Theistic Evolutionists Claim Genesis Chapter One and Genesis Chapter Two Are Two Separate Creation Events
Are Genesis one and Genesis two separate creation accounts? The answer is a simple no. Genesis chapter two is a more detailed explanation of creation, which gives more insight into how God created man and woman and how he interacted with the first pair of humans to ever exist.
1. People get hung up on the chapter divisions in the Bible, which were not in the original text. Originally, Genesis 1 and 2 were not divided, but one complete account of creation.
2. People claim there are certain contradictions in Genesis two. Yet, there are no contradictions, only a lack of knowledge or lack of understanding that may have some confused. Here is an example of a supposed contradiction in chapter two:
Genesis one says God made plants on the third day, but Genesis two says, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground." Genesis 2:4-5 KJV and "And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." Genesis 2:8-9 KJV
Some people think these passages are stating that God created plants after he rested on day seven. However, one must use the full text of creation to interpret each verse.
First, chapter two must be understood to be a restatement and more detailed explanation of chapter one. Second, Genesis 2:5 says, "there was not a man to till the ground," if the man was created on the sixth day of Genesis chapter one, then obviously, Genesis 2:4-5 is looking back on day three before man existed. Finally, one must read the text and see that Genesis 2:4-9 is focusing on the fact that man will be cultivating, "to till the ground," in order to grow the plants and herbs of the field and to care for the garden that produced food.
Genesis 2:18 is also misunderstood or exploited by some to claim that animals were created after the seventh day. Again, Genesis two is simply restating the events of Genesis one and then goes into more detail. Genesis two is not suggesting two creation events. Genesis chapter two only expounds upon Genesis chapter one.
3. Some claim that it would be impossible for Adam to have named all the animals in a single day as Genesis two describes. However, Genesis two states that Adam only named the livestock, birds, and wild animals, and in those categories, he would not have all the breeds that exist today. For example, there are multiple breeds of canines (dogs), but they are all derived from common parents. There are multiple races, nations, and languages among humans, but every human comes from Adam and Eve. Therefore, the task of naming all the foundational "kinds" was not a daunting task for Adam. The same was true for Noah when it was required to save the various "kinds" from the flood.
Genesis chapter two is not a new creation account, and it is not contradictory to Genesis chapter one. Genesis chapter two provides the crucial details missing in Genesis chapter one. If God never revealed the details of his work in Genesis chapter two, then so many questions would go unanswered. Thankfully, God did not leave humanity in the dark and provided insight into the creation of man and woman, so that false doctrines like theistic evolution can be debunked.

Theistic Evolutionists Claim the Global Flood
in Genesis is a Myth
Is the global flood a myth or a reality? If one believes the Bible is inspired scripture and given to reveal the works of God, then they will likely believe in a global flood. However, if one elevates evolution over the Bible, then Genesis will likely be seen as mythology.
In the modern era, Christians are blessed with resources that prove the flood in Genesis was a global event. Information is so numerous and accurate that Christians should have no problem debunking the false narrative of the secular scientific community. There is no need to compromise one's faith by taking shelter under the delusion of theistic evolution to save face or cozy up to humanist promoting science.
For the sake of brevity, resources, and teachings on the Genesis flood will be provided at the end of this study. Please, do further study on this topic.
What needs to be covered is the fact that the global flood was not only taught as a reality in Genesis but also in other books of the Bible.
"Those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood." 1 Peter 3:20 NLT
"By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith." Hebrew 11:7 KJV
"And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood." 2 Peter 2:5 NLT
If the Genesis flood is a myth, then why does Jesus talk about it as being a reality?
"When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes." Matthew 24:37-39 NLT
Once again, the question needs to be asked: are theistic evolutionists so bold to suggest Jesus is a liar or deceiver? Claiming the flood is a myth, false, fake, or a lie, is also to call Jesus a false teacher and a liar because Jesus taught the flood was a real event. Clearly, Jesus debunks the false beliefs and lies of theistic evolution.

Theistic Evolutionists Claim Death Was On the Earth for Millions of Years
Before Adam Sinned
The Bible says, "Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life." 1 Corinthians 15:22 NLT.
"...For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many..." Romans 5:15 NLT.
"...sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—" Romans 5:12 ESV.
"So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man." 1 Corinthians 15:21 NLT.
"death came into the world through a man."
How did death come into the world? Death came into the world through a man.
Who was that man? ADAM.
The Bible says that death entered the world because of the disobedience of Adam, which means death was not in the world previously. Therefore, for theistic evolutionists to claim death was in the world millions of years before the fall of Adam is contradictory to the Bible. The reason Christ came to save humanity was because of Adam's disobedience, which brought physical and spiritual death to everyone.
A real Adam and a real Eve fell (sinned), which introduced death into a world that never knew death, which made it necessary for Jesus to save all of us--we are all the offspring of fallen parents (Adam and Eve) and born subject to sin and death. Jesus is God's solution and cure.
To deny death came into the world through Adam is to deny the reason Christ came into the world. To deny Adam brought sin and death into the world is to deny the world needed Jesus, which is the message of the Gospel.
Theistic evolutionists are perverting the Gospel message and teaching another Gospel, a false Gospel. Paul said if anyone brings another Gospel, let that person be cursed. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8 KJV
Theistic Evolution is a dangerous belief system, it is counter to the true Gospel, and it must be rejected by everyone who claims to be a follower of Christ. It is time to take off the hypocrite mask and put an end to the delusion.
