Rev. James Garton On July 28th, 2019, I wrote a brief article about fake Nephilim (giant) photos, videos, and stories floating around the internet. One month hasn’t even passed since that article, and I already got a new alert by a staff member that another fake giant story is floating around the internet. The latest fake story is not really a new story, but an old one from 2012 that continues to be recycled and rebranded.
The story is about a 5.3-meter (17.3 foot) giant being unearthed in Australia. Some on social media may share this story from different sources, but no matter who reports the story, the story is still fake. The content of the article is 100% fake, and the photos are not of a giant human. One of the photos used in an article from April 2018 on Sciencevibe, was a photo of an excavation of a woolly mammoth near Paris France. Another photo in the Sciencevibe article on the Australian excavation was also used to claim giants were found along the Colorado River on a website called Cyber-Breeze. Therefore, that photo was used twice to report on two different supposed discoveries of giants in two different locations. So, the lesson to be learned by all these fake giant reports is not to believe everything you read and see on the internet. There have been reports of giants in the Bible, but it is very doubtful any of them reached the extreme heights that are being reported by these fake articles and videos online. With the average man being 5 foot, 6 inches tall in antiquity, anyone over 6 foot tall would have been considered a giant. The Nephilim and giants are a popular topic of late, and it appears many are taking advantage of all the buzz to get their 15-minutes of fame and to make a little profit off the popularity. Therefore, don’t fall for bad biblical doctrine and the manipulation of others trying to make a quick buck off you by selling you the allure of “new revelation” and “new evidence” they packaged in their books or DVDs. The Nephilim are not returning during the end times, the Nephilim are not time travelers entering our world through secret portals, and the Nephilim are not UFO’s or a hybrid race being created in a secret lab, or any of the other nonsense being promoted today – Sadly in many churches. It only takes a little research to debunk a fake meme, article, or video. Take the time to do the research to protect yourself from this phony information. Comments are closed.
